You can buy CBD in Georgia today, no waiting required. The Georgia Hemp Farming Act legalized hemp-derived CBD in 2019, and Senate Bill 494 tightened the rules, effective October 1, 2024, so you always know exactly where you stand.
Georgia uses a total THC standard, not a Delta-9-only standard. The formula is (THCA x 0.877) + Delta-9 THC, and the result must stay at or below 0.3% by dry weight. This applies to finished products, not just the raw crop, which is exactly why every batch we sell gets tested at the finished-product stage.
You must be 21 or older to buy any hemp product in Georgia. What Changes November 12, 2026
A federal law passed in November 2025 caps the amount of THC in hemp products at 0.4 mg per container. According to the U.S. Hemp Roundtable, this would remove more than 95% of hemp extract products from the market if enforced as written. Georgia's state rules apply regardless, and we're watching this closely so you don't have to.
